Dr. Vijay G. Negalur is one of India’s most respected and senior Diabetologists, Endocrinologists, and Metabolic Physicians, with more than five decades of clinical, academic, and research excellence. His contribution to diabetes care, education, and research has played a significant role in shaping modern diabetes management practices in India.
He completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, securing top university ranks and gold medals. He further strengthened his global expertise with advanced certification and fellowships from prestigious international institutions including Middlesex University, London, American College of Physicians (USA), and American College of Endocrinology (USA).
Dr. Negalur is the Founder President of the Association for Diabetes Care & Prevention (ADCP) and has been actively involved in public health initiatives, patient education programs, and national-level diabetes awareness campaigns since 2002.
With a strong academic background, he has served as Professor, Mentor, Examiner, Advisor, and Faculty for multiple universities, medical colleges, and international healthcare organizations. He has trained thousands of physicians, diabetologists, and healthcare professionals across India.
